How do I create a Rantera account?
Go to rantera.ai and click Get Started. You can sign up with your email address. New accounts receive $50 in credits to get started.
Which models are available?
Hira and Rant AI are live today. Hira is Rantera's flagship conversational model, available free in the chat app. Akili, Ilimi, Ona, and Ogbon are in training and will be released as they are ready.
Is the chat app free to use?
Yes. Consumer chat at rantera.ai/app is free. API key usage for developers deducts from your wallet balance. New accounts receive $50 in starter credits.
How does API billing work?
API usage is pay-as-you-go and deducted from your wallet balance. You can top up your wallet from the billing section of your account settings. Chat through the web or mobile app does not consume wallet credits.
How do I get an API key?
Sign in, go to Settings, and open the Developer section. You can create and manage API keys there. See the docs at rantera.ai/docs for integration guides.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password. Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion by emailing support@rantera.ai from your registered email address. We'll process your request within 7 days and confirm once it's done.
Is my data stored in Africa?
Rantera is building data centers in Abuja, Nairobi, and Kigali. During our current phase we use co-located infrastructure in Africa. Your data does not leave the continent.

Does Rantera have a mobile app?
Yes. The Rantera app is available on iOS and Android. Search for Rantera in the App Store or Google Play.
